Do you like to work with semi-precious stone? Some people feel a vibration in each piece that they touch or work with. Perhaps it helps them to get into a greater creative flow with making worthwhile things.
The colouring of semi-precious stones give an indication of the elements in Nature that the rocks (deep witin the Earth's core) have been in contact with. Some stones on the market are tinted with colour, which allows for greater scope in design constructs. When buying crystal gemstones it's best to be wary of descriptions that say 'jade' or 'turquoise', most often they are dyed aventurine/quartz or howlite. However, all types have good purpose in a craft box as it's a matter of personal choice whether to include natural or tinted stones in the craft. Some people believe it allows more variety and where this applies to material means we can create more diverse packages for the ardent stone worker, to deploy greater skill and talent in design.
For those who like to work with the energetic value of crystal gemstone pendants and beads, this site promotes products and packages that will meet your needs on this level. So keep checking back for beads and pendants in glass, acrylic, wood etc.
We've always got some little (or big) surprise up our sleeves and most items, products or packages created for this website has in some way been inspired by energies of stone.
Let us tell you about your chakras though, so that you can really appreciate why some people prefer to work with stone, as semi-precious crystal is..
INTRODUCTION TO OUR CHAKRAS
The slide control illustration is metaphoric for the energy centres within our bodies
Blue/ purple keys can represent the upper chakras in our body.. around the ears, eyes, top of head, which are concerned with clarity, expression, wisdom, intuition and spirituality
Red.. the colour associated with the base chakra, lower down in our body.. from our feet to what is known as 'the seat of power' at the sacrum, the centre of creative power, compassion and vitality
Green (not in illustration), connects to the heart chakra at the centre of our body, it is the centre of balance, harmony, inner healing and self-love
EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION
Our chakras (energy centres) are an etheric spectrum of colour within us, which at times get unbalanced. Through wearing and handling minerals our vibrational energy can be transmuted in a way that brings us more balance
.. It's a bit like fine tuning our body !
Certain events and situations can alter the levels of balance within specific chakras. Through handling and knowing different crystal minerals and reading recommended books/publications we can all increase our awareness of both ourselves and others around us. The physical world of matter is formed from molecules which have 'sympathetic resonance'. This can be more easily explained as an identical frequency of molecular vibration, or energy pattern. It flows continuously in all living things, including minerals, plants and animals (humans).
Light, sound and aroma all exist as energy and have specific function, as do the organs in our body. Everything in the universe is connected via a continuous flow of energy vibration, chi or prana are just two of the words used for this flow. It is believed that a balanced and healthy life style occurs when the life giving vibrations are in harmony with each other.
